The Roadmap

A rigorous sequence of activities builds your capability across the academic year:

Michaelmas - Competitive programming foundations
Lent 1 - Interview Reasoning
Lent 2 - Improving larger Python programs and adding persistent data
Summer - Independent project and showcase

Competitive Coding

Theory meets execution. As an Aspire student, you are required to take all 5 competitive coding opportunities during the year.

While teachers will be keeping oversight to see if you are on track...

It is your responsibility to:

  • Independently build your completion portfolio during the year.
  • Proactively enter all competitions when they are advertised.
  • Manage your time to ensure all rigorous milestones are hit.
  • Maintain the standard required for the final certification.
